I'm positive that during my working years, that lack of sleep along with the stress of dealing with actual assholes at work, brought on my various medical problems. I am currently grateful when I can get a full 8 hours of sleep. Last time I could get as much sleep as I wanted (aka when I was a teenager) I would sleep nine hours a night to feel refreshed. Nowadays, I feel lucky if I stay asleep more than seven.<br /><br />When I was in early Uni, I read somewhere about a study that found that our function drops 10 IQ points for every hour of sleep we get less than eight a night.
