When our illustrious Oona makes her way down the red carpet, I'm confident she'll never let this happen. Because she'd run it by us, first. Right darlin'?
This is why we need educate the public about getting your clothes tailored properly. Eesh.
They forgot to tell her not to show her back, hehe. Sadly, most of the celebrity fit issues are due to last minute decisions and no time to alter. Drives me crazy how many times I'm chasing people with a needle & thread as they start to roll cameras.

That's kinda funny and sad at the same time.
Deletei had a daydream about this yesterday!!!! i'd be on the red carpet, in my me made gown, which would be of course showcased on the blog as i was stitching it for le collective sewists opinion, and when they ask me what are you wearing i would shout out to all my sewists...
ReplyDeleteAnd twitter would suddenly EXPLODE with awesome!
DeleteNot just Twitter, I imagine. Basically, the world.
DeleteIs that a bump at the bottom of the zip too? Doesn't look like it was meant to be worn with the belt either - the wrinkles over the tummy and poofy bit under bust aren't great!
ReplyDeleteYes, it is! Its that zipper poke you get when there's too much fabric/not enough stabilizer.
DeleteFunny, y'know, I used to always tug my dress/skirt down and tell myself the wrinkles weren't really there, or were normal. I remover my first attempt at swayback adjustment... Like the scales fell away from my eyes.
ReplyDeleteThere's no excuse for the zipper poke, though.
